Practice the Art of Mindfulness, Presence and Connection

Have you heard of Mindfulness? Maybe you've read an article or two about it and are curious. Maybe you've tried meditation before as well. Omni Awake is an in-depth journey into the practice of both of these disciplines.

Omni Awake is founded by the creators of Awake@Intel, one of the longest running corporate mindfulness programs in the world. Omni Awake's fresh, new content is based on a combination of both the neuroscience and spiritual practice of mindfulness. Survey results reveal that after the course, participants feel less stressed and overwhelmed by the frantic pace of the modern adult life. Instead they report feeling more focused, creative & inspired with more mental clarity, a greater sense of emotional well-being and deeper connection with those around them.

Please join us for this incredible journey deep into the center of ourselves and into connection with others. Together, we will learn how to bring our full awareness into the present moment through both conceptual learning and embodied practice. Mindfulness practice will profoundly shift how you think, work and live.

Omni Awake is a Portland-based mindfulness and meditation consultancy that seeks to help people reawaken their connections to themselves and others through it's signature approach built from the success of the Awake@Intel program. The fundamental principles behind our program involve an inclusive approach built on a platform of respectful attention to others, a non-judgmental attitude, and a peaceful heart stemming from balanced lives and compassionate self-care. In each class we will have an opening meditation, class discussion, introduction of the week's topic, journaling and a longer, integration meditation. Between classes, teachers will connect with participants to reinforce class learning and share additional resources.

This class is limited to 25 participants and will meet weekly for eight weeks. Why 8 weeks? Harvard Medical's neuroscience research shows that at least 8 weeks of regular meditation produces measurable changes in the brain; increasing the density of the pre-frontal cortex, responsible for executive decision making, creativity and insight and shrinking the amygdala, the fight, flight or freeze response.

Experiencing how meditation works in the body and mind & cultivating new habits for mindful awareness in your everyday life will increase your emotional resilience and bring you closer to inner stillness and peace.
