About this Event

Take a mental pause during the week, and join us for a short mindfulness meditation on Zoom every Wednesday, 12:30 - 1:00pm HKT. The intention is to cultivate calmness and inner peace to respond skillfully to stress and burnout.

Mindfulness is about present moment awareness without judgement, and these sessions draw on the principles of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).

MBCT is approved by the National Health Service (NHS) England as an alternative treatment to antidepressants, and is also taught in workplaces to help people deal with stress.

Suitable for people without prior meditation experience to advanced practitioners.

Free, friendly, non-religious (non-faith based).

These sessions are in collaboration with Kampung Admiralty, Singapore.

Noelle Lim, Mindfulness Teacher, Kindermind Center

She completed the foundational training at Oxford Mindfulness Centre, Oxford University to teach Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to adults.

She also completed the .b training at UK’s Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP) to teach mindfulness to 11 - 18 year olds.

She has worked in financial services in Malaysia and Singapore, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Asia Journalism Fellowship (by Temasek Foundation), and Eisenhower Fellowships US.
