Mindfulness & Meditation Group | Fridays
This 4-week group is an opportunity for students to learn about mindfulness, practice meditation within the group, and to increase their meditation practice in their daily lives.

Benefits of Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a way of living more fully in the present to increase awareness and be more present to what you are feeling, thinking, experiencing without judgement. Research has found that mindfulness increases density of gray matter in brain regions linked to learning, memory, emotion regulation, and empathy.
