Staying Afloat: Mindfulness & DBT Skills Training
I'm offering a one-day workshop on Saturday, December 3rd focusing on Mindfulness based skills inspired by Marsha Linehan's DBT Skills Manual.
This workshop provides a helpful overview for both newcomers to mindfulness and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as individuals who are already familiar with the skills.
If you've never been exposed to DBT skills or haven't been able to join a group, this is a great introduction to the concepts and provides helpful tools for practicing.
For past participants of skills group, here's an excellent opportunity to freshen up and get specific questions answered. I've also made a special workbook for participants with the most useful skills from the manual.
We'll cover all four DBT skills modules including the 'Whats' and 'Hows' of Mindfulness, Radical Acceptance, Opposite Action, Interpersonal Effectiveness and many more.
This workshop is for adults, parents and clinicians looking to strengthen their mindfulness skills and learn how DBT can help in every day life.
The cost for the workshop is $125. Your registration includes my mindfulness workbook, Staying Afloat: Daily Mindfulness and DBT Skills Practice, tailored for individuals to practice the skills on their own.
Looking forward to seeing you!
