Join mindfulness teachers Gemma and Janet to have a try of mindfulness meditation and learn what it's all about.

See how mindfulness might be useful for you.

This taster session will give you time to try it, ask questions and if you want to sign up to our next 8 week evidenced based Mindfulness For Stress Reduction course.

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the ability to be present in the here and now. Noticing the details of the images and symbols of the words that you are reading right now. Noticing any sounds that you can hear around you. Noticing your breath as it enters your nose or mouth, traveling into your lungs and back out into the world.

Being present. Noticing as your mind wanders. Kindly guiding your attention back to where you chose it to be.

Mindfulness has been proven to help reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression. To increase well being, immunity and mental health.

Helping people to be healthy and happy.

We have a small amount of funding available to help to provide financial support if you are on no wage or a low wage and really want to attend this session but do not have the funds to do so just email us at owlandcoconut@gmail.com for more information
