Mindfulness Day Retreat- Lyme Disease Focused
Sat, June 10, 2017, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM EDT
Mindfulness is the practice of focusing attention purposely on the present moment-and accepting it without judgment.
As is true with any chronic illness, and certainly with Lyme Disease, finding and maintaining balance in our lives is an important component to healing. This is an opportunity to learn and understand a variety of mindfulness techniques to help deal with the stress of illness, to address the lifestyle factors that can help restore balance and improve wellbeing.
Come join Dr. Martha Calihan, Turi Nevin-Turkel, and Christine Reeley for the day as we focus on the unique challenges of healing from Lyme disease; learning mindfulness techniques including meditation, mindful movement and mindful eating. You will leave with practical tools to help you on your healing journey.
The retreat is from 10am-3pm; lunch will be provided.
