What is the course about?

Mindfulness is about present-moment awareness. It is a universal capacity that we all have, which can be strengthened - like any skill - with appropriate training.

Breathworks® Mindfulness for Stress is one the easiest and most comprehensive mindfulness-based programs. This course involves a secular approach based on an understanding of mindfulness that is evidenced by neuroscience and supported by research evidence.

What is the level of the course?

This course is ideal for people who want to learn to meditate, or have not taken a recognized training in mindfulness, or want to develop skills to better deal with stressful situations or improve their wellbeing.

What will the course cover? And how will I be taught?

By focusing each week on a different aspect of your life, you can learn to recognize habits and patterns of reactions. In addition to learning some simple principles about how the mind and brain work, you will be able to explore a range of mindfulness techniques that have been helpful so many people.

When will the course take place?

Dates: Monday evenings from 30th January to 3rd April 2017

(There will be no session on Monday 13th February and Monday 13th March)

Time: 6.30 – 8.30 pm

What is the cost?

The standard rate is £135 - Limited concessionary supported rates (£70) and bursaries are available for those on low-income. Please feel free to enquire about them.
