Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course: Spring 2017
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a multi-week program which is documented to cultivate:
- An increased ability to relax
- Greater energy and enthusiasm for life
- Improved self-esteem
- An ability to cope more effectively with stressful situations

- Awareness of the Breath
- Walking Meditation
- Sitting Meditation
- Mindful Movement (based in Qigong & Yoga)
- Eating Meditation à la Thich Nhat Hanh
- Body Scan by Jon Kabat -Zinn
MBSR course meets Tuesdays January 17th - March 7th
6:30pm - 9:00pm in downtown San Francisco @ 450 Sutter

9:30am - 4:30pm
The course fee includes 30 hours of instruction and 10 downloadable mp3 files with more than 5 hours of guided meditation.
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) was first offered by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts. It is now offered at more than 600 institutions worldwide. The practice is founded in meditation and a growing understanding that awareness brings relief.
Please note that requests for reimbursement must be made by September 13, 2016. After that point, no refunds will be issued. We are unable to offer make-ups for missed classes. Choose wisely.
