Event description

Description

n a world of busy schedules, ample distractions and stress, arm yourself with the knowedge and resources that will help you stay grounded and present even during the most demanding times.

We have gathered some amazing women to teach, discuss and practice mindfulness and the many ways it can be attained. Every moment is an opportunity to take control of our thoughts, however it becomes much easier when we know ourselves and what we need to radiate a calm, happy and present demeanor.

Our Presenters:

Stephanie Fine-Sasse will start out our day by teaching about our complex brains and how we can set them up for success to attain mindfulness by first understanding ourselves. Stephanie has an Ed.M. in Mind, Brain, and Education studies from the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE), she is the CEO, Co-Founder & Creative Director of The People's Science, a non-profit organization committed to engaging lifelong STEM learners and cultivating an informed citizenry.

Stephanie has an amazing way of communicating complex scientific information in ways that resonate with her audience, we are honored to host her and have much to gain from her research and knowledge.

Ariel Cristina Eberle is the Winemaker at Yamhill Valley Vineyards and started her own label in 2013 called, A Cheerful Note Cellars, after the loss of her Mother in 2012, Ariel Eberle dove into practicing mindfulness as a way to bring joy, purpose and connection back into her life. Through some ups and downs, the last five years have been an incredible and transformative journey that has lead her to harness the power of vision, meditation, yoga, e
ssential oils, food and even wine.

Ariel will present on a number of resources that she has found to aid her in the eternal search for presence, the most important gift of all.

Last and certainly not least we invite Caitlin Jean Howard to lead us in a yoga practice that will include a guided meditation to aid in mindfulness. Caitlin completed her 200-hour RYT training at Corepower and began teaching at Living Yoga, bringing yoga to a program for teen survivors of commercial sexual exploitation. Caitlin shares yoga with others so that they may tap into the strength, inspiration, and peace within them that she has been able to glean through her practice.

Our practice will take place right outside the J Wrigley tasting room under an outdoor tent overlooking the valley, with one of the most amazing views in the world.

We will wrap up the day with a healthy lunch prepared by Valley Commissary and a wine reception featuring J Wrigley Winery wines!
