Description

This immersive class draws from secular and empirically-supported mindfulness and compassion curriculums (including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindful Self-Compassion). Each week's session provides participants the opportunity to cultivate self-compassion using lecture, meditation, examples for daily practices, group exercises and discussion. Mindfulness and self-compassion are both evidence-based tools for lessening the impact of stress as well as treatment for many mental and physical health issues. You will be provided with essential tools for increasing your emotional health and responding differently to the stresses of your daily life.
