Mindful Yoga Basics: Finding Your Practice
Wednesday, December 7th & 14th, 7-8:30pm
Ongoing class through November
During this class, you will experientially learn the foundations of a mindful yoga practice. Through the movements of Hatha Yoga, we can deepen our awareness of the physical and emotional body. We will explore how yoga a practice can bring us into deeper understanding and awareness of the body's intelligence and intuition. As we practice, we will explore how to nurture a healthy relationship with our own bodies.
The practice will consist of:
short meditation & reflection
sequence of basic yoga movements
This class will support each person in finding their own personal balance and use movement to create deeper awarenss and inner harmony.
This workshop is open to new and seasoned practitioners; modifications for poses will be offered. If you have any specific physical limitations, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
The class is offered on a dana/donation basis. We are supported by the practice of shared generosity.
