Description

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is a program developed by researcher, Kristin Neff and Christopher Germer, a leader in integrating mindfulness and psychotherapy. This program combines mindfulness and self-compassion tools to help participants experience a greater sense of health and well-being in daily living.

Research suggests that a consistent practice of mindful self-compassion can help you reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and feelings of shame.


In this course, you will learn:

  • How to tame the inner critic

  • How to offer yourself compassion in times of difficulties

  • How to cultivate more courageous states of mind

  • How to build your capacity for resiliency

  • How to cultivate more happiness

  • How to transform difficult relationships

  • How to be your own best teacher


Who will be guiding me?

Norma Rubio: UCLA trained mindfulness and meditation educator (IMTA Certified)

Cori Rosenthal: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and meditation and mindfulness educator.


Class Dates:

8 Sundays from 1/20/18-3/10/18 from 4pm-6:30pm

**There will be a 1/2 day retreat on Saturday February 23rd from 9am to 1pm
