Bringing the art of mindfulness to running. To reach your goals train both your body and mind to fuller potential.

About this Event

The Mindful Running Workshop teaches skills to engage our full selves in each run. We will blend mindfulness, brain training and dynamic running technique to bring a new awareness to your running. Learn how to better integrate your mind, spirit and body as you move. And bring that experience with you the rest of the day. See your perspective shift in your future runs.

Coach Susan Larson blends her experience in the fields of memory, coping skills and cognitive neuroimaging with her experience as a USATF-certified running coach in this unique workshop.

Topics include: intentions, focus, discomfort, positivity and gratitude.

During our time together, we will engage in a number of mindful exercises both while still and during your guided run through the beautiful trails of Sehmel Park.

All experience levels welcome! You will be free to run at your pace as we move between our mindful stations along our path. Our total distance covered will be between 2 and 3 miles.

Please dress for the weather. Bring water to carry or keep in your car, as you prefer. Also, remember the trails can be muddy during the wet months. Embracing the environment is part of the joy of mindfulness.
