What happened to your happily ever after? You love your partner, but sometimes it feels like you are talking to someone from another planet! Despite all the books you've read, and all the advice from family and friends, you and your partner can't seem to fulfill the vision you had for a loving, respectful relationship. The result being that you end up feeling frustrated, angry, or powerless, or worse: wondering if you should separate.
Every person, man or woman, has a vision for their partnership. If you are ready to embrace this vison wholeheartedly then this mindful partnering workshop is for you AND your partner.
In this two-day weekend workshop, you and your partner will be guided as you learn to identify your unique communication styles, internal drivers, coping mechanisms and fears. The purpose of this workshop is not just to understand 'what' your partner does, but "WHY' they do it. By the end of the partnering workshop you and your partner will be able to:
1) Identify the root cause of some of your worst arguments.
2) Create rules for effective and empathetic communication on topics such as: finances, work, division of household chores, sex, and parenting.
3) Develop three-month, six-month, and one year plans that respect and empower each person's vision for the future.
Using the narrative tradition of teaching through community and storytelling, partners will leave the workshop feeling less isolated and better prepared to embrace their happily ever after, together.
Workshop meets all day Saturday and Sunday. All workshop materials provided.
