Description – Mindful Movement has been designed to provide you with the tools to help build and strengthen your ability to handle the mental and physical demands on your body and mind. We have combined the practices of Mindful Meditation and Fascial Stretch Therapy in order to restore our mind/body connection.
Fascial Stretch Therapy is a mobility-stretch system that is fascially (connective tissue) based and designed to help you become more flexible in your body so that you feel more functionally mobile. Making you the most efficient you! Mindful Meditation is the practice of the non-judgmental observations of life from moment to moment. Research supports that Mindful Meditation has helped people with stress, anxiety, chronic pain, depression and much more.
Join us for a journey of self-exploration and rejuvenation by learning and cultivating new skills that you can immediately incorporate into your daily routine. This workshop will offer the perfect yin to all of the yang in your life.
Below are a few reminders and suggestions to ensure the quality of your experience during the class:
• Wear comfortable layered clothing – exercise, yoga or athletic wear.
• No jeans or restrictive clothing. Women: no skirts, dresses or short shorts please.
• Warm Socks
• Extra layers of clothing as it does get quite chilly in the Centre
• A blanket
• A pillow, meditation bench or cushion
• Water bottle
