If you’ve ever wanted to know more about mindful meditation, this is your chance! Mindfulness is an effective technique for decreasing anxiety and stress, improving working memory, and reducing emotional reactions. Learn simple, safe, effective techniques in this introductory series. In four 1.5 hour classes, you will learn how to relax your body, use your breath to focus your thoughts, and create a more compassionate outlook on life. No special training or knowledge is needed.

This class is taught by a licensed clinical psychologist from Baptist Behavioral Health with special training in mindfulness. Come learn mindful meditation techniques to enhance your physical and spiritual health.
The fee for all 4 classes in this series is $30. This class is open to the community – you don’t have to be a YMCA member to participate.
YMCA membership is not required for participation.
