Mindful Listening in Zoom
Event Information
About this Event
How can we help ourselves and our students be fully present in order to foster learning, particularly in a context of growing distraction and Zoom fatigue? In this workshop, you will engage in a mindful listening practice and consider how and why you might facilitate such an activity with your own students or colleagues. Together we will reflect on the ways in which scaffolded mindful listening practices can help us cultivate connection, awareness, creativity, and compassion, and ultimately deepen engagement within a learning experience.
For Future Faculty Program participants, this session fulfills the "Diversity & Inclusive Teaching" OR "Assessment & Active Learning" requirement.
This session is only open to Northeastern University educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
