Description

Making peace with food & embracing mindful eating without fear of deprivation or obsessing about body image guides this unique "NON DIETING" wellness group where you will find an inspirational support group for women of all ages. Each session will begin with a themed 20 minute presentation by Clinical Social Worker & Chopped Canada Winning Chef, Pam Fanjoy, MSW, RSW. Pam is the Owner at Fan/Joy Restaurant & Bar in Hillsburgh ON and has 20 + years of experience guiding Mindfulness Meditation groups throughout the GTA with a broad spectrum of clients seeking healthy lifestyle changes for optimal well being.

Each class will begin with a presentation about food as you set personal goals for your own improved nutrition, physical, emotional and spiritual health in 2018. Participants are welcome to share in open discussions but can equally take in what is meaningful to them in quiet reflection.

Group sessions will be held on Friday mornings and a commitment to the 6 week course is the best way to maximize the benefit of your participation. Group will be open to new members once it begins allowing those who are participating to get to address their needs and food questions in a safe and supportive atmosphere.

Individual mentoring sessions will be offerred outside of the group time for those interested for an additional fee.
