Goodwill Dumping brings the enormity of the industry surrounding donated secondhand clothing to light. The film showcases the journey that discarded pieces of clothing endure and the significant impact this has on local industries. Goodwill Dumping shows the dark side of what seems to be a good deed—donating an old t-shirt. The film encourages the audience to think beyond performative actions and dig deep for innovative solutions for a significant problem.
