The students of MINDDRIVE have been busy this year converting a 1967 Karmann Ghia into a fully electric, energy efficient car. And they're taking it on the road...again! This time, heading to Washington DC to raise awareness and support for experiential, hands-on education through a campaign called the Social Fuel Tour.

The car will actually be powered by social media with an Arduino device designed to monitor and capture activity on the social media channels of MINDDRIVE and sponsors by converting the activity into watts, which triggers the motor to engage or not engage depending on the level of social fuel.
