Mind-Body Skills for Health (4-week course)
Contemporary research has shown what people have long known intuitively: There is a strong connection between the mind and the body. Evidence also shows that individuals can enhance the mind-body connection to reduce the effects of stress on the body, improve management of chronic disease symptoms, and elevate overall health. This 4-week session explores several easy-to-learn approaches to meditation, mindful living, and creative stress management. Taught by Holly Roche, MS, LMT, of Wentworth-Douglass Integrative Therapies, this course emphasizes strategies to build strength of calmness throughout our busy days, as well as setting time aside for deeper practice.
Please register for your 4-week session online. The first class of each session meets at the WDH Garrison Wing, in the Federal Savings Bank Room. This sessions classes will be held April 4, 11, 18 & 25.
