Milwaukee's top chefs and restaurants will compete for Milwaukee's best, sampling more than 60 varieties of chili, but only one will leave with the Golden Ladle award.

Reserve your tasting ticket and you'll be able to sample traditional and spicy chili, along with specialty chili like chicken, lamb, brisket, sweet potato, bratwurst, and vegetarian chili.

So, whether your temptation is spicy, vegetarian, or traditional chili, there is something for everyone.

  • Karma Bar and Grill: Black Bean and Beef Chili plus a Green Chorizo Chicken Chili with Roasted Poblano Peppers
  • School Yard Bar and Grill: Traditional beef and pork chili slow cooked to perfection with secret spices. Guajillo chiles de arbol, sweet peppers, fresh sweet tomatoes, and of course black beans, dark kidney beans, and more. Topped with shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream.
  • St. Francis Brewery and Restaurant: The Wrath of Chili: Indulge in a beef and pork chili made with St. Francis Brewery’s very own Wrath Amber Ale from the seven deadly sins beer line. Also offering a Veggie chili.
  • O'Lydia's: Fiery chipotle brisket chili: Spicy chipotle brisket shredded with hints of other chili peppers and hominy topped with nappa cabbage and a squeeze of lime. Also serving a Chicken parmesan chili - Creamy style chicken chili with roasted garlic, mild chili's and parmesan topped with toasted parmesan chips.
  • Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub: 3-meat chili with filet, ground chuck and andouille sausage, topped with cheese curds, onions and sour cream.Also offering a Veggie chili.​
  • Mulligans Irish Pub and Grill: Award-winning traditional beef and pork loin chili and it's Vegetarian: Award-winning smoked Poblano and white bean vegetarian chili.
  • Trysting Place Pub: Traditional ground beef chili in three different types of heat. Mild, spicy, and OH MY GOD!
  • The Villa at Heaven City: Award-winning Classic Texas style grilled STEAK chili made with guajillo and pasilla peppers & USDA Choice beef TENDERLOIN & RIBEYE. Garnished with FRESH avocado-tomatillo relish and crumbled queso fresco. Also serving Heaven City's VEGETARIAN Tuscan Corn Chili with white truffle, tri-colored peppers, tomatoes, cream & fresh herbs. Garnished with Italian parsley & FRESH grated Parmesan cheese.
