About Milwaukee Opera Theatre: (MOT) creates dynamic, singer-centered art; explores the beauty of the human voice; sparks the imagination of both audiences and artists; and transforms the bountiful landscape of classic and contemporary lyric theatre. We are committed to meeting the professional development expectations set forth by the artists with whom we work, creating our season each year to reflect our artists' goals. All of our projects employ local talent, and specific projects, like this Requiem, are entirely Milwaukee made.
About Chant Claire: Chant Claire | French for “clear song” | was founded in the fall of 2013 by Ben Bedroske with the intent to explore rigorous and thoughtful choral repertoire with singers and audiences throughout the Milwaukee area. Beginning as Chant Claire Chamber Choir, they’ve now grown to an ensemble of over 70 singers. Chant Claire aims to combine the power of a large choir with the clarity of a chamber ensemble.
