The Rotary Club of Sacramento and NAWBO Sacramento Valley proudly present the Million Dollar Panel.
Panelists will be from varying sectors, ie. Technology, Food/Ag, and IT. These amazing fempreneurs will be sharing their experiences, journeys, and insights to their success!
Million Dollar Panelists:
Cheryl Beninga: an experienced Venture Capital investor, Board Member and Advisor for technology companies in strategy, financing and M&A for over twenty years. She has experience building high growth and adaptive learning organizations in clean technology, mobile software, medtech and enterprise software and services companies . She is the Co-Founder FourthWave Accelerator Program for Leading Female Founders and Managing Director of Beninga Advisors an advisory firm.
Elizabeth Connolly: Co-Founder and President of Trifecta. She started Trifecta with her brother 5 years ago and has grown it to well into 9 figure ARR. Trifecta’s partnered with the UFC, Mr. Olympia, CrossFit, and countless celebrity athletes to get America back into shape. This year they were named the 2nd fastest growing business in Sacramento and are the largest organic meal delivery service in the nation.
Margaret Strong: President at Afineol IT Consulting, providing outsourced IT support in the Greater Sacramento area. With a focus on business first- technology second, she has spent the last 20 years leading teams for strategic growth and helping our clients continue to grow in the ever-changing technology landscape. Afineol IT is a partnership with husband Michael Strong. They have worked together to build the business and are proud parents of five children. Margaret is currently President for the National Association of Women Business Owners – Sacramento Valley (2019 – 2021). She earned a Bachelor’s in Communication from Montana State University and recently completed the Management Development for Entrepreneurs (MDE) program at UCLA Anderson School of Business.
Camille Richman: is the co-founder and CEO of Hamama, a West Sacramento based e-commerce company changing the way consumers eat their greens. Hamama's core offering is a just-add-water microgreen kit powered by a patent-pending Seed Quilt technology.
Special Guest/Venture Capital perspective:
Mariah Lichtenstern :At the intersection of technology, entertainment, and venture capital, Mariah Lichtenstern accelerates positive social, economic, and environmental impact through entrepreneurship. An alumna of UC Berkeley, USC, and UCLA, she is the Founding Partner of DiverseCity Ventures and Managing Director of the Founder Institute, Sacramento, California chapter, which was recognized by Forbes Magazine as the 3rd most gender diverse chapter in the world.
She serves as an advisor for the California Clean Energy Fund’s CalSEED initiative, Berkeley Skydeck, Village Capital Finance Forward, FourthWave female founder accelerator, HaydenAI AI Ethics advisory, and Yale University School of Medicine’s Digital Innovation and Diversity Initiative. She serves on the boards of FourthWave, StartupSac, and the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of UCLA Ventures and an Aspen Tech Policy Hub Fellow (Win '20), where she developed the Tech Funding Equity Project to advocate solutions to the tech industry funding gap.
