Description

Come the Lancaster County Conservation District and Penn State Greening the Lower Susquehanna Program for this riparian buffer planting! As a group of volunteers we will be planting approx. 1,000 native trees and shrubs along the banks of the Mill Cr. to complete a recently restored stream section. Supplies needed by volunteers would include shovels, gloves and good outdoor footwear.


**IMPORTANT** Please register is you plan on attending - Directions Details:

Traveling East on PA Route 30; Exit PA Route 30 at the Route 23 exit (New Holland Pike). Turn left onto Route 23 East towards New Holland. Travel East on Route 23 for approximately 5 miles to the intersection of Route 772 East (Newport Rd.),on the right. Turn right onto Route 772 East (Newport Rd.) and travel approximately 2.4 miles to the intersection of Newport Rd. and Stumptown Rd. A bridge carrying Route 772 traffic over Mill Cr. will be in front of you. Turn Right onto Stumptown Rd. and travel approx. ¼ mile. On the left side look for address 2846 Stumptown R., Ronks, PA 17572. Park on the side of the long driveway entering this property.
