OPPORTUNITY TO CONNECT TO MANY RESOURCES AVAILABLE FOR MILITARY, VETERANS AND FAMILIES IN THE TRIANGLE AND BEYOND!
In partnership with the Wake County School System, the Military and Veterans Resource Coalition is hosting our annual Military Service Provider and Resource Fair. The fair is designed to help connect organizations who currently serve, or are interested in expanding services to military and family members. Our event is also open to the public; for veterans, military and families to learn about local organizations who are willing to assist with a variety of needs.
For MILITARY and FAMILIES: Job support, housing asisstance, crisis services, family support services, government services, legal help, alternative therapy, financial help- just to name a few things available at this years resource fair. This is THE PLACE to go for resources. If you don't need them now, you may need them later- so come and gather the information available to YOU!
For VENDORS: You will be provided with table space to display materials please note that extra large displays will not fit in the venue. There are no available tableclothes on site, so please bring one if you require one. It is recommended that you bring 2 representatives so that one person may gather information from other service providers and one may stay at the table to serve military and families as they browse are materials. This year's venue GUARANTEES military presence at the fair, and we are excited to grow our audience this year! We will not have power available for booths, sorry!

When & Where
Military and Veteran Resource Coalition
The Military and Veterans Resource Coalition (MVRC) serves the military and veteran community in and around Raleigh, NC. MVRC is contacted by veterans, military, families and organizations to assist with finding resources in the local area. We serve organizations who seek further assistance outside of their scope of programs for military/veterans/family. We serve military/veterans/family who are seeking to be connected to organizations that have programs to assist their needs.
MVRC collaborates with local organizations and individuals to host resource and information sharing sessions across the county.
How Do We Serve?
MVRC functions as a central clearinghouse for the coordination of services and the collaboration of organizations assisting our service members, veterans and their families. MVRC “connects the dots” between organizations and individuals or families so that aid is provided swiftly and effectively.
Our goal is to improve awareness of, communication about, and access to supports that enhance well-being during service and in civilian life through collaborations among local organizations and individuals.
Filling the Gap
In addition to providing a place for all partners to collaborate for the betterment of our military members and families, MVRC offers a limited amount of emergency financial assistance. Examples of assistance include emergency housing, utilities, food and job training.
This service is intended to fill the gap until additional funding and resources can be secured in our partner network. ALL financial assistance empowers the recipient to improve his or her situation and is distributed through the service provider.
