Veterans, transitioning Active Duty Military Service Members, and Military and Veteran Spouses, are cordially invited to a FREE Transition Workshop: "Financial LIteracy and Planning."

Our presenter, Joe Finnegan, will provide an interactive discussion around Personal Finance and the factors to consider during one's transition from military service. Learn about the 5 financial core competencies (Income, Budgeting, Saving, Borrowing, Protecting) and discuss wealth building and tax minimization strategies. Issues such as Servicemember Group Life Insurance (SGLI) replacement, Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) election, and what to do with Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) funds will also be discussed. Don't be one of the thousands of veterans that puts themselves at financial risk due to a lack of information or support.

Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.

Guest Speaker and Q&A: 10:30 am to 11:15 am

Small Group Discussions: 11:15 to 12 pm
