Benjamin Van Doren studies global bird migration and his talk will explore how migratory birds respond to changing environments

About this event

Benjamin Van Doren studies global bird migration across scales, from individuals to continents, and his work spans ecology, evolution, behavior and conservation. In this talk, he will explore how migratory birds respond to changing environments—including the influences of light pollution, bird feeding, and warming temperatures. Benjamin began birding as a teen among the Audubon chapters of Westchester County, New York and is currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology with a Ph.D. from Oxford University and B.Sc. from Cornell University.
