Join YSA from over 50 midwest regional stakes from Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Oklahoma, Arkansas, South Dakota and Nebraska in Kansas City, Missouri the first weekend of June!

Tentative Event Schedule:

Friday, May 31st, 2019:

2-6 pm Registration Check-In at William Jewell College Dorms--There will be plenty to do as you arrive. Enjoy meeting new folks, hang out, get settled, check out Liberty or download the "Journey to Zion" app to explore the local Church History sites.

6 pm Dinner--Delicious. Yes, have some more.

7 pm Opening Session--Um, just Andy Reid...the Kansas City Chiefs Head Football Coach! “Faith, Family and Football”

8:30 pm Move the party to the Clayview Church Building--We have so many great folks attending that we have to move to a local church building that can hold all of us!

9:00 pm "Dance Party 2.0"-- Professional DJ and our bestie Rich Linden...our dance party and True Colors presenter from the 2018 conference is back and ready to kick it!

Saturday, June 1st, 2019:

8 am Breakfast--Don't sleep in!

9 am Keynote Speaker-- Hip Hop Artist JTM (James The Mormon)...who is flying in from Utah with his crew just to be with us. They've heard how amazing the YSA in the Midwest are. Don't be late...you don't want to miss this.

10 am to 12 noon Tentative Workshops:

*From 10 am-6 pm--The event command center will host professional resume and interview coaching and just a place to wind down.

3 pm to 6 pm YSA Connect Free Time--Dude, you have so many things you can do during this time.

6 pm to 7 pm Dinner--Don't want to miss it. You need to get a meal in you so you can have energy for the rest of the night. Seriously.

7 pm Move to Clayview Church Building

7:30 pm Hip Hop Concert featuring JTM, Jay Warren and DJ Kanane--We are not even kidding about how AWESOME this is going to be!

9:30 to 11:30 pm Movie--Wrap up a terrific evening with a movie and bedtime snacks

Sunday, June 2nd, 2019:

9 am Check out of dorms--Let's leave the dorm better than we found it. That's how we roll.

10 am to 12 pm Fast and Testimony Sacrament Meeting

12 pm Goodbyes and hit the road--Grab a bag of food and be on your merry way...ready to Be Not Moved!

What are the age requirements to attend the event?

To attend the conference, you must be between the ages of 18 and 30.

Where and what time do we check into the conference?
Check In will be between 2-6 pm Friday afternoon, May 31st, at the dorms at William Jewell College, Liberty, Missouri.

What is the packing list?

Pack accordingly. This includes modest, appropriate casual clothing for Friday and Saturday, and Sunday clothes for Sacrament meeting. Feel free to bring games, guitars or any other kinds of entertainment. Some activities may be held outside, so you may want to pack an extra outfit if the weather is hot and humid. Also, because we are on a college campus, we will be moving from building to building, so in case of rain, you should pack an umbrella.

Is there an Honor Code?
Yes. It is required as part of the registration process.

What is the dress code?

Friday and Saturday dress will be modest, comfortable casual dress. The Sacrament Meeting will be Sunday dress.

What do I need to know if I am staying in the dorm?

If you are registered to stay in the dorms, you will be assigned a room and roommate before your arrival. If you want to stay with someone you know will also be attending, you will need to contact Valerie Anderson no later than May 20th, 2019 with your request. Two people per room. You need to bring your own bedding, pillow, towel and personal tolietries. William Jewell does not provide these items. Bathrooms are community style. Male and female participants stay in separate dorm buildings. There will be a lost key charge of $30.00.

Do I have to wear my nametag lanyard at all times?

Yes, you do. The lanyard is your ticket to enter the conference activities, the dorms, and all meals.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Each registrant must provide transportation to and from the conference. Parking areas are designated and marked. If you do not park in designated locations, you will be ticketed at your own personal expense.

What's the refund policy?

Full refunds will be give until May 24, 2019.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the organizers of the conference or William Jewell College will not be held responsible for the loss or theft of personal items or electronic devices brought to the conference by participants.
