Cutting Edge of Prevention:  Sharing Best Practices

 

Registration/Networking Breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m.

Day One, 11/29 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EDT

Day Two, 11/30 - 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EDT

Breakfast and Lunch are provided for both days at the Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel at Keystone Crossing.

Overnight and daily parking is complimentary with ticket validation.

 

Target Audience

The course is designed for trauma coordinators, injury prevention coordinators, academic, violence prevention, youth & adolescent professionals, NGO's and State government officials.

 

 

Course Objectives

This year’s conference will focus on a variety of injury and violence prevention topics, including prescription drug overdose, older adult falls, emerging hazards in child injury, and other primary injury prevention topics. Additionally, it will include presentations focusing on pediatric and adult injury prevention.

A separate block of rooms has been reserved at the Hampton Inn & Suites (within walking distance) for the 2018 MIPA SUMMIT attendees from November 28-30, 2018 at a special rate of $119 plus tax.  Please be sure to identify yourself as a 2018 MIPA SUMMIT attendee to receive the discounted rate. The room block deadline is November 16, 2018. Reservations received after November 16, 2018 will be accepted on a space availability basis.

Registration Cancellation/Refund Policy: Cancellations prior to November 8, 2018 will be fully refunded. Cancellations received between November 9-20 will receive 50% refund. We regret that refunds are not given for cancellations received on or after November 21, 2018 or for no-shows.
