Event Details

Midwest Craft Con is excited to bring Sara Trail, an author, sewing teacher, pattern and fabric designer to Columbus, Ohio. A graduate of the Harvard University Graduate School of Education, she founded the Social Justice Sewing Academy (SJSA) to be a platform where youth create art that engages and educates communities.

This is a ticketed experience to hear and meet Sara Trail on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 4pm - 5:30pm. Immediatly following Sara's keynote is a happy hour and the oppertunity to buy items at our Trade Show.

Is my ticket transferrable?

Tickets are transferable but not refundable. 

Does my ticket to hear the keynote include a full ticket to Midwest Craft Con?

No. This ticket only includes hearing the keynote. You can secure a full 3 day pass or a day pass to particapte in additional activitives. 

Is the venue offer accessabilty? 

We at Midwest Craft Con strive to have all our activities be as inclusive as possible. All meeting rooms and classrooms meet ADA standards, but if you have specific accessibility needs or questions please reach out to Megan Green (midwestcraftcon.com) or Michelle Bazeley (gluegunky@gmail.com

Midwest Craft Con is a three-day retreat for mid-career crafters, makers and creative business owners in the heart of it all: Columbus, Ohio. The 2016 conference drew 180 makers from across the Midwest and across the country. Midwest Craft Con is brought to you by Brit Charek of Crafty Mart in Akron, Grace Dobush of Crafty Supermarket in Cincinnati, and Megan Green of Craftin’ Outlaws in Columbus.
