Midsummer Gathering .. is this afternoon's session

This was first scheduled as one of our Secret Gardens Of Sligo Open Afternoons, but Secret Gardens Of Sligo has been postponed for a year

Add to that, due to the current Coronavirus prevention practices. this Sunday Session is being transferred to live streaming format.

If the virus has waned away this will convert to a live people social at Carrowcrory. I will change these details if we change back to that. For now, I am assuming streaming and archiving.

Streaming will be about 30 mins through Facebook Live from our Carrowcrory Cottage & Labyrinth Gardens Facebook Page. You do not need to be a Facebook member to watch! This is the all public link ...

A casual forum online sharing Midsummer traditions and related memories of this time. Probably attention to the Midsummer themes of longest light, bonfires and water ceremonies, baptisms, and the blessing of established fruiting and crops growing towards maturity and ripening.

This is one of our exclusive themed sessions based on my books Bathing In The Fae's Breath, Bathing With The Sheela, Bathing Your Roots, Bathing Among The Aislings. To join in, we ask for a per session donation of your choice.

Usually, we apply all donations towards replacing Labyrinth Gardens plants and ongoing maintenance and repairs, ready for you to visit when the isolation curfew has passed.
