MidraShabang 2014 ~ Honoring Diane Bernbaum's Legacy & Retirement
Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (PDT)
Join us for an evening of celebration as we honor and say farewell to our Woman of Valor, DIANE BERNBAUM, for her 33 years of service and dedication to Midrasha!
Come celebrate with Diane and Midrasha as we pay tribute to her lasting legacy in our community and raise needed funds to ensure Midrasha's continued future building innovative and experiential programming for Jewish teens.
The evening will be filled with schmoozing, bidding, music, and fun! We will commence the evening with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction, followed by dinner including a tribute to Diane, live auction, and finally dessert and our annual raffle drawing.
We hope you can join us in honoring Diane's legacy!
Don't forget to purchase an ad in our Tribute Book and write a tribute message honoring Diane! Individuals, groups, and organizations encouraged to purchase space in the Tribute Book!

Parking at the MidraShabang:
The event will be held at Beth El, the home of Midrasha's offices and program. Limited parking available in Beth El's parking lot and street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. Arrive headed north on Oxford Street and turn right into the one-way driveway to drop off passengers. Exit onto Spruce Street turning right only. Please do not make u-turns on the neighborhood streets or in our neighbors' or Beth El's driveways. Please be courteous to our neighbors and minimize parking in front of their homes and, of course, be careful not to block driveways. Be sure not to take up every parking spot so our neighbors will have plenty of room to park and receive guests as well.
Midrasha in Berkeley, providing innovative and experiential Jewish education to teens in grades 8-12, is sponsored by the congregations of Aquarian Minyan, Beth Abraham, Beth El, Beth Hillel, Beth Israel, B'nai Israel, Kehilla Community Synagogue, Netivot Shalom, and Sha'ar Zahav. Midrasha in Berkeley is a beneficiary of The Jewish Federation and The Jewish Community Foundation of the East Bay, the Koret Foundation, and our many generous donors.
