An important part of the stories in Torah can often be what isn’t stated. The spaces “in-between” Judaism’s sacred stories allow our imaginations to run wild with alternate storylines and interpretations that give immense depth to our tradition. These alternate stories that stand alongside Torah are called Midrash. Once a month throughout 2023, Rabbi Chase will lead us on a journey of various Midrashim (plural of Midrash) to explore fun, thought-provoking, and occasionally supernatural takes on well-known Torah stories.

This series will alternate between in-person and on Zoom. Come to one; come to them all. But really, the more you dive into the Multiverse the more you will find a depth of meaning in Jewish learning that helps you become a more stronger, resilient you.

Join Rabbi Chase at the April class to explore Midrashim (plural of Midrash) with other interfaith young professionals on Zoom.
