Inaugural Showcase Seminar for discussions and networking on mass spectrometry-based research performed within the Midlands

About this Event

Keele University will be hosting the first Showcase Seminar of the Midlands Mass Spectrometry Group on 11th September 2019. The event will bring together researchers and technical staff interested in the application of mass spectrometry, showcasing some of the latest research being performed within the Midlands and providing a platform for networking.

The event will take place in the Huxley Building (Building 16 on the campus map found here https://www.keele.ac.uk/kudis/keelecampusmap/).

Visitors are advised to park in the pay and display car parks either at the Students Union or Sports Centre.

The Showcase Seminar will include the following talks:

Prof Toby Bruce: Chemical Ecology and the race against insect pests

Amy Johnson (PhD Student): Metabonomic approaches to food security

Dr Abigail Rutter: Selected ion flow tube-mass spectrometry for cancer cells and breath samples
