A live automotive sketching deathmatch with $2500 Grand Prize judged by a panel of great automotive designers
Our Panel of great judges is led by Chief Judge Chris Benjamin, who was appointed Head of Interior Design at FCA NA last October. Chris is joined by Bryan Thompson who has gained fame for his work with Airstream and previously at Nissan. Round 1 Guest Judge will be Michael DiTullo Chief Design Officer at Sound United/Polk Audio. Scott Robertson of Scott Robertson Workshops will be the Guest Judge for Round 2 and Paul Czornij of Title Sponsor BASF will be the Guest Judge for the Final Round.

Famous design icons sketching live for charity – make a donation and get a signed sketch. You read that correct - you can make a donation and get an original piece of artwork from Camilo Pardo, Dwayne Vance aka Masters of Chicken Scratch and Arthur Martins aka Deadbrush.
Tickets are $20 in advance (tax deductible) – 100% of the proceeds go to The Petersen Museum. Since 1994 the museum founded by Robert and Margie Petersen has been dedicated to the exploration and presentation of the automobile and its impact on American life and culture using Los Angeles as the prime example.
Student tickets are $5 - must have an .edu email address and show student ID at the door.
We have limited space and expect the event to sell out, so reserve your space early. If we have room, tickets at the door will be $25 general/$10 students.
NOTE! This is not a child friendly event however we do encourage high school students who are interested in a career in design to attend. Under 18 MUST BE accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The Petersen Automotive Museum has more than 300 vehicles on display including historic race cars, iconic Hollywood cars and rare, award-winning Hot Rods presented in 25 stunning galleries. It is also home to the famous Vault, where visitors can experience a guided tour through the the Petersen's extended collection, held in the lower level of the museum. Having recently undergone a 90 million dollar, record-breaking renovation this past year, the Petersen has poised itself to be the world's leading automotive museum and a center for automotive thought.
