Description

Mindfulness experts Kate Petriw and Nina Purewal from Mind Matters (http://www.mindmatters.space/) lead a workshop on mindfulness.

We'll look at tactics that help you stay in the moment and reduce stressful thinking patterns. In addition we'll go into the science behind mindfulness and why it's proven to work.

This workshop is great for those who are curious about mindfulness and how it can reduce stress.

Be sure to arrive at the shop by 7:00pm so you have time to check out the products and see what Knix has in store for you. The workshop will start promptly at 7:30pm.


If you are coming by TTC:

  • On the 501 Queen Streetcar the closest stop is Queen St West at Peter St
  • On the 504 King Streetcar the closest stop is King St West at Peter St
  • On the 510 Spadina Streetcar the closest stop is Spadina Ave at Queen St West
  • On the Subway Line 1 (Yonge-University Line) get off at Osgoode Station and walk about 8 minutes West on Queen, turning South at Peter Street.

Coming by Car:

  • There is Green P parking on Peter Street just outside of the shop
  • There is a 24hr parking lot at 120 Peter Street (Just south of our shop on the West side of Peter)
