On August 4th I will be hosting the 1st ever in-home (in-studio) podcasting course for medical educators. If you missed The Podcasting Course in Lexington, Kentucky this past April hosted by The Teaching Institute then this is your chance to catch up. This fully immersive and interactive workshop will be held in Lexington, Kentucky at the home of Rob Rogers. Yes, you heard it correctly, in his home! This course is aimed at the beginner to intermediate level podcaster.

Ladies and gentlemen, we proudly present The Mics4MedEd Course!

This is a one of a kind course experience. Short, micro-didactic sessions will be held in the basement home movie theater on a large screen. Sit back on some comfy furniture, enjoy some popcorn, and learn how to podcast. Workshops and recordings will be held in Rob's soundproofed podcast studio. And yes, you get to hang out with Rob in his house all day! What's better than that?

What's covered in the course? Well, what isn't. We'll cover the basics of voice recording, editing, podcast scripting, equipment, how to post your podcast, branding, and lots more...Each attendee will develop, construct, and implement a strategy to impact medical education with podcasting. Tuition includes a one-day, fully immersive podcast workshop, an Audio-Technica ATR 2100 USB/XLR microphone, a pre-course cocktail hour on Thursday, Aug 3rd, breakfast/lunch and coffee/tea/snacks on Friday Aug 4th, and one year of mentorship in podcasting. In addition, you will have scheduled Google Hangout sessions with Rob before the event to maximize your podcast education experience.
