This hands-on course is designed for those who want to learn how to set up and manage projects using Microsoft Project. Students will enter tasks and durations and then create an outline with summary, detail and milestone tasks. Tasks will be linked and students will review strategies to change the types of dependencies between linked tasks. Hard constraints and deadlines will also be applied. Students will create a resource pool with different types of resources and assign resources to tasks. Techniques to deal with overallocated resources will be reviewed and various reports will be generated . During this course, students will also create custom reports, tables and filters. At the end of the course, a baseline will be set and progress will be tracked with students entering actual start dates, actual finish dates and actual durations.
Duration: 1 day (9 am - 4 pm)

Course Fee: $295 CDN per person + HST or BYOD (bring your own device): $245 CDN person + HST

This course has been designed for beginners who are just getting started with Access. No prior experience with Microsoft Project is required.

Absolutely! If you choose to bring your own device, you will receive a reduced rate. Be sure to bring a power cord and a mouse is helpful.
