Event description

Microsoft Power BI for Excel Workshop

CMBI's one day, tutor-led "Introduction to Power BI" training workshop provides you with hands-on experience of Power BI for Excel.

Through a series of practical exercises, we guide you through Power BI's core components, including Excel Power Query, Excel Power Pivot, and Power BI Desktop.

During the workshop you will learn how to:

  • Automate data import and cleansing with Power Query, so you can focus on turning data into information.

  • Integrate data from multiple different data sources with Power Pivot to provide a robust and flexible organisation-wide data model that simplifies your analysis and reporting.

  • Extend the capabilities of Pivot Tables in Excel and create impressive reports and dashboards in both Excel and Power BI Desktop.

This introductory workshop is a must for business professionals requiring practical techniques for tackling real-world data and reporting challenges. We guarantee you'll want to apply these new skills as soon as you walk out of the training room.
