Microsoft Office 365 Productivity

Description: This workshop will teach some techniques used in the creation of complex documents that requires the integration of word, excel, and OneNote.

Outcome: During this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to work on their own project.

  • Understand Microsoft Word Styles and Format or if you hit tab or space twice you are doing wrong

  • Create and Format Documents

  • Add Headers and Footers

  • Add Page Numbers

  • Add a table of Contents

  • Insert Images and Graphics

  • Understand Basic use of numbers and cells

  • Work with Formulas Creation of simple Charts & Tables

  • Format Spreadsheets

  • Combine Microsoft Excel and Word Materials Into one-document

  • Mail merge techniques

  • Use Microsoft One Note to organize materials

  • Q & A

    Academic Technology Services, a division of Information Services at St. Mary's Univeristy, offers weekly workshops for students and faculty. Most of our workshops are held in the Center for Instructional Technology in the Learning Commons (1st floor of the Blume Library across from Starbucks) unless otherwise noted. Everyone is encouraged to come and no reservation is required. The workshops generally last an hour, but we schedule a little extra time for questions. Come and go as needed.
