Each Data Center briefing is facilitated by an architect-level Datacenter specialist who will explain operation excellence, the rationale behind our modular data center strategy, what we’re doing to improve data center efficiency and sustainability, and how we secure our cloud infrastructure. At the conclusion of the tour you will understand how your organization can take advantage of Microsoft’s cloud on your terms, i.e. how Microsoft provides you with the flexibility and control to consume IT as a Service whichever way best meets your unique business needs.
Agenda and Timeline
We start by eliciting potential issues or blockers that could hinder adoption of cloud based services. We will also discuss Microsoft’s vision and commitment to cloud computing and take you on a tour of a Microsoft data center to see firsthand how we deliver cloud services; the tour includes: facilities operations, security and physical construction principles, and insights on how compute is delivered at massive scale and optimization. Upon our return, we will discuss the possibilities for your organization with Office 365, Azure, and virtualized data centers and private cloud computing.
