Event Details

MiCPAC is Michigan's premier conservative

grass roots strategy and networking event.

MiCPAC 2017 is titled: "Conservative Governance - our next steps."

We have had MANY successful campaigns, giving us many elected officials in the legislature, county, township and city/village offices. Some are doing great things. Lowering taxes, increasing transparency, improving governance. We will meet some of them and hear some of their stories. We will discuss ethics in office and politics, and how to stay true in the face of so much temptation and pressure. We will discuss a conservative agenda in the legislature and our fundamental programs - Operation Watchdog, Projects Kirk and Friedman, and how they are designed to assure conservative governance. We will have presentations and discussions on pressures the Federal government is putting on Michigan, like forced settlement of unvetted aliens and refugees, forced re-zoning and forced regulations.

We have a lot to be proud of. Let's learn from it and grow, as we prepare for the next steps!

What an all-star faculty!

We are Ecstatic! Our first choice for MiCPAC speakers has confirmed! We have been trying to book historian and author Lee Edwards, Ph.D. for years. MiCPAC 2017 will be in Holt, Mi. 4/28/9. Lee Edwards is a distinguished fellow in conservative thought at the B. Kenneth Simon Center for American Studies at The Heritage Foundation. He is a leading historian of American conservatism and the author or editor of 25 books. Lee's books include biographies of Ronald Reagan, Barry Goldwater, William F. Buckley, Jr. and Edwin Meese III as well as histories of The Heritage Foundation and the American conservative movement. His works have been translated into Chinese, Japanese, French, Hungarian and Swedish.
Edwards also is adjunct professor of politics at the Catholic University of America. Edwards was the founding director of the Institute of Political Journalism at Georgetown University and a fellow at the Institute of Politics at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He is a past president of the Philadelphia Society and a media fellow at the Hoover Institution
