Come Celebrate with me on Lucky Friday the 13th!
Help me celebrate my 35th year and make my dream come true to raise $3500 for one of my favorite organizations, the Community Alliance of Tenants (CAT). CAT is Oregon's grassroots housing justice organization focused on tenant education, tenant advocacy and tenant power. Let's make Friday the 13th of September CAT's lucky night.
I believe we all deserve a safe, stable and affordable place to call home. I grew up in a hard-working, low-income Michigan tenant family. For my last 8 years in Oregon, I've volunteered many hours to the Community Alliance of Tenants to give back to my community, honor my background and feed my passion for social justice. This is my last year as President of CAT's Board of Directors and I want to invite you - my friends, family, coworkers, and colleagues, to join me in celebrating CAT's good work for housing justice.
Donate as much as you can! If just 7 of you donate $500, or 35 of you donate $100, my dream is fulfilled. If those donations are out of your reach, how about toasting my 35 years with a $70 gift (35 x 2) or $35.
I hope to see you on Friday the 13th at the Lucky Lab to make it CAT's Lucky Night!
