Event description


Producing her 13th project, model and clothing designer Kayla Smith produces a new project that will be May 2nd-May 5th in Miami, Florida. This event will encompass a diverse, nonchalant, sheek, and chic look in the beautiful environment of Florida. This project is ONLY open to female models ages 18-30. Only 20 open spots are available. Additional/outside attendees are welcomed but must pay a fee to join. We are looking to have female photographers, models, designers, hairstylists and makeup artists. Please keep in mind that Kayla Smith is putting this event together all on her own with the help of others in various states! Any donations would be greatly appreciated.


This event is about empowering, making connections and networking to our fullest potential. The goal of this project is to publish, network and create art in its finest form.

A KINDLY REMINDER: KEEP THE DRAMA AT HOME. Positive energy and only positive energy. We are women of empowerment, encouragement and engaging in the lives of others who seek to grow and better themselves in the industry.

Please refrain from bringing pets or outside guests that are significant others.

Designers are welcomed to attend. Out of state designers have a $53 fee. Miami, Florida designers are free to join.

The early bird secure spot cost is $89 per model. If original spots are filled a $170 ticket price is required for all additional spots.

1. Will there be any transportation provided?

No. Transportation is up to the attendees. Please ensure that you have secured transportation before you RSVP for the event following your interview once approved.

2. Do models have to buy anything?

Models do not have to buy anything. Bring any clothing you find suited well for the project. The look will come together naturally.

3. What if the weather is bad?

We will have the opportunity to shoot both inside and outside no matter where we go. There is always a back up plan in the event weather is bad!

4. Do models have to bring their own makeup and personal hair items?

Please bring your own makeup with you as well as hair products, tools or accesories for the event just in the case of an emergency.

5. Where will hair, makeup and wardrobe be taken place?

Hair, makeup and wardrobe will be taken place at a Air Bnb closely located in Miami, FL. Everyone attending the event will be staying at the luxurious house!

6. Does this event classify as TFP? (Time for Print)

This project/photoshoot is all about networking. Everyone involved in the shoot are doing their services for free, but for a sufficed purpose to further their career. This opportunity will influence exposure, connections and future opportunities ahead.

7. Are guests allowed to come?

Guests are allowed but they need to pay a $69 fee to attend and hold a spot. Guest tickets must be purchased at the same time as the original attendee. *Only 1 additional guest per attendee. (if spots are completely filled and your guest is looking to model, do makeup, hair, eat or stay over they have to pay the guest price.)

8. What if I have an allergy?

As a household we go out to eat or even order in some nights. If you are allergic to anything please inform myself or Blessed K prior to the day of the event.

9. What are the roles of each attendee?

Photographers: either choose one day or every single day of the event to attend and create amazing art.

Models: come ready to shoot and network with each other with smiling faces! we will be shooting daily!

MUA'S: come prepeared to glam and show your greatest work!

Hairstylists: be prepared with your tools and your greatest ideas to show hairstyles like no other!

Designers: choose a day/location out of the project dates to come and exhibit your clothing to the models!


February 1st- payment deadline for early bird tickets (December-January acceptances)

March 16th- deadline for additional mua's, hairstylists, designers to join

March 20th- deadline for additional photographers to join

March 31st- deadline for additional models to join

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Any behavior, acts or incidents prior to the event that cause outlying issues will result in the removal from the project.
