We are on our way into the fourth season. A wonderful opportunity awaits the fantastic filmmaker and screenwriter. This January 13th through the 16th, we will screen 63 films from 15 countries, there will be eight theatrical screenplay performances, loads of awards, explore social gamer fandom, discuss scientific topics, and take awesome field trips. Visit with us this January in Miami the retail capital of the world, and currently the warmest place in North America.

Parking for the event?
Friday Night Only - Flamingo Theater: 905 Brickell Bay Dr, Miami, FL 33131, 10 dollars.
Saturday, Sunday & Monday All day and Night - Imperial Parking; It is next to the Hyatt Regency Miami: 200 SE 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33131, then walk over to the event (It is right next door, and you never exit outside in the process of walking over).
FREE Parking with a VIP PASS. (Note: No in and out parking)
What can/cannot bring to the event?
Costumes, Blasters, Phasers, and Lightsabers are allowed ONLY if approved at the door. If your cosplay is exceptional, you will get a free care package.

Do I bring my printed ticket to the event?
YES. Bring your bracelet, badge or paper ticket. If you do not have either of these, the time will take longer to enter the festival.
Name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
NO. Your ID MUST MATCH your ticket. NO Exceptions!
Do I have to register for the MicroDocs even if it is free?
NO, but it helps us. We are a 501c3 Non-profit organization. Your numbers and details help illustrate we are doing something positive for you and the community.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Any night after 8 PM, a supervising adult must accompany minors. Any age is allowed except where noted. Unaccompanied minors will be asked to leave.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
NO. if there were registration mistakes before the annual event, please contact our offices. Once the main event has started, there are no alterations or changes.
Are Badges and Bracelet transferrable?
After you pick up your badge or bracelet; you can give it to anyone you like. Can't make it to a screening? Hand your badge or bracelet off to a friend. Just be sure to get it back before you want to go to screenings again. No badge or bracelet holder will be allowed into a screening without a badge, bracelet or ticket. If you lose your badge or bracelet, or give it to a friend, or leave it at home, or if aliens abduct you and the only thing they take is your badge or bracelet, it will still not be replaced. We are expecting all badges and bracelets to be sold out by the day the festival begins. It is unlikely that additional badges will be available for sale. Once you have received your badge or bracelet, we are no longer responsible for it.
Can I update my registration information?
Only on Eventbrite; on this system BEFORE the main event.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
YES, if you ordered a pass, bracelet or badge BRING IT WITH YOU.
It is used for your access to the festival and select areas.
What is the refund policy? All sales are final.
There are no refunds or exchanges under any circumstances. Badges, Bracelets, or tickets purchased cannot be rolled over to the 2017 MiSciFi Festival; they are only applicable to the 2016 festival.
