About this Event
The premise of this event is to raise awareness of homelessness and how it affects our community. The night will be full of live musical performances, food, drinks, networking, and art.
The event’s inspiration came from the soft, thick, animal or flower print blankets just about every Latino grew up with. We are bringing back this nostalgic piece and raising awareness to our community that not every person is fortunate enough to have a warm blanket.
We hope that this project will inform the people of homelessness in their own community and create a positive impact by providing warmth and shelter to the homeless.
By uniting WE can be that blanket for our community.
All proceeds and donations acquired from this event will be given to Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, a non-profit whose sole purpose is to prevent and end homeless in Chicago.
