Mi Amor Gala's 5th anniversary in support of domestic violence survivors presents White / Black Gala featuring Grammy Award-winning artists John Carter Cash & Ana Cristina Cash

Mi Amor Gala is partnering with Safe Passage, a nonprofit organization that provides emergency shelter, counseling, advocacy, peer support, and legal services to victims of domestic violence.
Each year, Mi Amor Gala honors individuals engaged in outstanding works of philanthropy with its “Kindness is Cool” award in addition to the empowerment “Runway of Hope” with survivors of domestic violence.


The program of the Mi Amor Gala 2019 on November 21st, at The Cutting Room, 44 E 32nd St, New York, NY 10016 will include:

  • The “Kindness is Cool” Award honoring:
    • April Hernandez-Castillo - A well-respected Latina actresses in Hollywood. Her personal life story is one of victory and she uses her experience to motivate and inspire other survivors of domestic violence;

    • Liana Zavo – is a Russian-American self-made entrepreneur on a mission to change the women’s media landscape by empowering women in business;

    • Claudia Romo Edelman - is a Mexican-Swiss diplomat and an advocate for the inclusion equity and representation with a mission to use her voice to build bridges and remind us that we are all human.

  • The “Runway of Hope” starring survivors of domestic violence

  • An amazing performance by Grammy Award-winning producer and artist John Carter Cash and Ana Cristina Cash
