Description

The MFA will hold its 2016 Annual Meeting and Legislative Reception on Thursday, February 25th.

The meeting will include an association update from MFA President, Todd Berman, a presentation on RMC and Maryland's Forestry Communities from Charlotte Davis of RMC, a Rurual Economies Work Group (Sustainable froestry action items) from Greg Bowen of Lands Stewardship Solutions LLC, and a DNR Update along with regulatory and legislative issues from Don VanHassent the DNR Acting Director/State Forester.

Registration will open at 2:45. Meeting will be held from 3 – 5 and legislative reception from 5 – 7.

All legislators will be invited. All members are encouraged to personally reach out to their district officials and invite them to attend, as well. You may find your legislators’ contact information here.

Parking Information:

Note that the location of the Miller Senate Building is simply labeled “Senate”. The address is Bladen Street, however on the map it looks to be labeled Rowe Blvd. MFA suggests you park in Gott’s Court Parking Garage, #5, adjacent to the Visitors' Center. The rear of the Miller Building is across the street from Gotts. After you park, just cross the street and walk around the block to enter at the front of the building.
