Mezcal, also referred to as "the wine of Mexico” is one of the most complex spirits. Typically distilled in small batches by Maestros Mezcaleros (craftsmens), each bottle has it's unique flavor profile and history. Julian has had the opportunity to visit numerous palenques (primitive distilleries), during his many trips to Mexico. He is excited to share his knowledge and passion for this magical agave spirit. He has meticulously selected each bottle to showcase each of their unique artistry. Come learn about this fascinating distilled agave, hear some stories, sample the mezcals and enjoy the comradery. If time permits, tours of the tortilleria will be available upon request. Light appetizers will be provided.
